Welcome to Trinity's Mission
Trinity's Mission Holds a free community breakfast once a month and is looking to do more.
We have opened a thrift store. All of the money raised from the sale of donated items is used for our missions. We would love to be able to do more. Let everyone know that we are here. Please help us if you can, so that together we can help others.
Things going on at Trinity Christian Church Mission in Wareham.
God answered our prayers. He provided us with a new Pastor. Life has been restored! Attendance has doubled since then. We are back doing the things that matter in a church community.
Our Sunday school has evolved and grown.
We had about 5 children attending church regularly and we knew we should start a Sunday school class for them. We prayed for God to help us with this. We started the one room Sunday school with one teacher. We prayed for more children to come. Praise God – more children came.
We now have four Sunday school Classes. A pre-school group, two middle school groups and a teen youth group.
All children are welcome to attend, they don't have to be a church member.
They are learning about God’s creation and how to share God’s love and blessings with others. Every year they choose a mission. They work hard to raise money for their missions. They have supported things like St Jude Children's Hospital and a local homeless animal shelter.
We are so blessed to have these children with us each week to learn how to worship and praise God.
We have opened a thrift store.
It started with casual conversation about a vacant room not being used for anything in particular. Mostly a storage area for things we wanted to get out of the way and didn’t know what to do with.
Some body had brought in a bag of clothing to give away to any one that would like them. Then more clothing came in and the thought that maybe we should open a thrift shop came to light.
Visit our Mission Thrift Shop for wearing apparel, jewelry, books, housewares and more. All at very reasonable prices. All proceeds go to mission outreach in our community and overseas.
Watch for our Dollar Day Sales throughout the year when everything in the shop is reduced to $1.00
Donations of clothing, accessories and small household items are welcome.
Please drop off only when the shop is open.
Now open

Our Mobile Ministry team is still serving homeless and low income people on Fridays. The hungry on the streets have no place to store food and need to be fed and loved.
If you would like to help on Fridays please let Barbara or Pastor Ginny know.

Mission Stitchin’ knitting group meetings in the fellowship hall. Tuesdays, from 9:30-11:00
Crocheting is also welcome. A time to gather and work on those projects for others, such as lap blankets for the elderly or hospitalized, baptismal blankets, hats and booties for little ones in hospitals etc. Maybe it’s a time to learn. All are welcome.
Mission Stitchin’ Group Meetings
In the summer of 2021, Carol Shapiro and July Hyland had an idea. Maybe some of the other women in the church also had knitting or crocheting skills and might want to get together to use their skills to donate various knitted and crocheted goods to charitable organizations or wherever there may be a need.
And a new ministry was born! We started with about 5 women from the church, and then a few others outside of the church heard about the group. At the present time there are about 10 people who regularly meet every week to work and fellowship together.
We have recently decided our group needed a name and all agreed on Mission Stitchin’ (Thank you Sandi Turner!)
When we have items ready to go, Pastor Ginny prays over them before they are distributed.
Some of the missions we have been able to outreach are:
Babypoint – with baby clothes and receiving blankets.
Turning Point and Mobil Ministries – with hats, scarves, mittens, and warm afghans for homeless.
Oncology centers in Fairhaven, Plymouth and Dana Farber – with hats and lap afghans.
Local nursing homes – with lap afghans and shawls.
We were recently able to respond to the needs in Turkey and for our immigrant families staying in town, especially for the pregnant women with several baby blankets.
We meet every Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 in Fellowship Hall. If you knit
or crochet or would like to learn, please join us! Yarn, patterns, and hooks or needles can be supplied or you can come with your own.

Providing free community breakfasts, all are welcome to come.
We have given free clothing and food to low income and homeless people in our community.
We open up our fellowship hall to AA for their group meetings and recovery programs for drug and alcohol.
We supported another local church that recently went on a mission trip to Haiti. We donated peanut butted, canned tuna fish and money for them to take on the mission trip. We are helping to build a church which will be used for worship, medical center and school.
We have grown spiritually:
Through worship, prayer, and Bible studies, we have increased our knowledge and understanding of God’s word. We have increased our faith and trust in God. Through our community outreach we have grown and try to become more like Jesus Christ, sharing love and helping others. We pray for guidance so that we may learn more of God's love, and that we find joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control in this life we live.
We still have our struggles, but because of answered payers we can continue to give glory to God. We still pray for Him to lead us and to help us to do His work.
Amen
Our next free community breakfast will be Saturday, April 19th 9:30 - 11:00.
